White Wine Limeade

I got this cocktail shaker sent to me from Shikshook just in time for the Labor Day weekend! Hopefully this recipe will come in handy for you and your friendsThis is a very simple recipe and in a way it’s a twist on a classic Sangria.

My mom always made sangria with limeade, red white and chopped fruit, as simple as that! I was kinda in a pinch to whip something up really quick so I can enjoy it as my boyfriend came home from work to celebrate the long weekend together.

BTW, how adorable is this cactus glass? It’s my roommate’s, the credit totally goes out to her but it’s so cute I couldn’t not use this for the photo

So without further ado the recipe….

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lime
  • 1/2 cup of Water
  • Ice
  • 1/4 cup of White Wine
  • Sweetener (I used liquid Stevia)

Put the ice in both the glass and the cocktail shaker. Slice some thing lime wedges for decoration inside the glass! (This is optional) In the cocktail shaker squeeze the lime, pour the water, wine and add sweetener as desired. (Mine had a dropper so I think I used about a full dropper) and THAT’S IT!

So simple, so delicious!
